Getting started with your print order


First things first

Do you have an account with us? If the answer is "no" then you will need to sign up for one. If yes, you just need to sign in. The Sign Up/Login button is straight above next to our logo.

Choosing your product

Now that you are logged in, choose your product and add it to the cart. You can view details about the product when you click on it's thumbnail or link before adding to the cart.

Choosing your quantity

Other than how many you are printing in a set, for instance, you need 2 sets of 1000 cards. In the cart there is a quantity box. If you needed more than 1 set, you would simply type in the quantity of sets you would like and click on "update cart" when you are done. This will update your total. Click "checkout" to go to next step

Choosing your shipping method

When you are at the shipping page you will need to choose a shipping method. If you choose regular UPS Ground, we may use a different carrier to ship your package depending on where your order is shipping to or what kind of card you purchased. For instance, a package to Hawaii may have a flat rate of $35 for up to 25lbs. which equals to 6 sets of business cards and shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service). Canadian shipments are a flat rate shipping as well. The price for Canadian is $35 for 20 lbs 1 to 5 sets of 1000 Business Cards. Duty fees apply in Canada. Current rates apply until flat rates go live.

Making your payment

Once you have gone through the 4 steps above, you are ready to pay. You will need a major credit card. If your name does not match the name on the card, we may verify the card before we process your order.

Preparing your files

  • Make sure your files are saved with an extra .25 inch (.125 on every side). This is called a bleed. So if you are going to print a 4 x 6 postcard, the file would be 4.25 x 6.25. This goes for ALL files, even if there is no bleed.
  • When saving your file the resolution should be 300 dpi (dots per inch)
  • Files should also be saved in CMYK format and not in RGB. If it prints in RGB your colors are likely to change. All colors don't print the same on all paper stocks. Uncoated papers print undersaturated vs coated being a better option for photos and images of that nature. Dark on dark colors are not recommended for uncoated stocks.
  • The upload process can take a long time. Depending on your connection speed and how many files are being uploaded along with other files being uploaded by other clients will determine how long it takes for an upload to finish. A 50 Megabyte file can take as long as 10 - 40 minutes. If you think that your file may not have uploaded or has got stuck in the process, call us 1st and we can check if it was received, if it wasn't you can always try it again. Just let us know and we will resend the upload link to you.
  • The best files for our service are tif and eps files. Each side of the item should be saved in it's own file name, such as biz_card_front.tif and biz_card_back.tif. You can also use jpg, pdf, bmp files as well.
  • When using Adobe Illustrator files, remember to outline all fonts and embed all images.
  • When using Adobe Photoshop files, remember to flatten your image before saving.

Selecting our Graphic Design service (optional)

If you choose to use our graphic design service we will need a few things from you to start. 1st you need to purchase your product along with the graphic design fee of $75 - $150 depending on your product. Then in the "additional comments" boxes, tell us what you want on the cards and at the end of the transaction, send us your logo files and any other images or files you would like to use through our upload section. See Sending your design files below for more information.

Sending your design files

When you complete your checkout, you will be prompted to upload your files. Simply click on the link located on the "checkout success" page and follow the form. If you did not purchase "Graphic Design", then you are now finished and you can wait for updates or if you requested a file proof to come via email. YOUR ORDER NUMBER IS LOCATED IN THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL SENT BY "PREMIUM CARDS" Proofs are sent via email by request and are free of charge. If you are uploading your own files and did not use our templates, please make sure that your files match our specs or you will delay your job.
